Rock climbing is an activity accessible to everyone, provided safety guidelines are followed. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced climber, caution and responsibility are essential.

If you'd like to try climbing without any prior experience, the Crans Montana Sports Center offers three bouldering areas, suitable for both children and adults, as well as eight auto-belay devices allowing you to climb independently on the equipped routes. These facilities are accessible without any prior training. Simply follow the posted instructions and the recommendations of our team.

To access the entire climbing gym and practice lead climbing or top-roping with a partner, it is essential to master belaying techniques, equipment handling, and the specific safety rules for this activity. If you do not possess these skills, we invite you to take one of our introductory or advanced courses. Our reception team is available to provide information and guide you toward the most suitable option.

Minors

• Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a parent or responsible adult.

• Young people aged 14 to 17 may climb independently only if they already possess the necessary skills to practice climbing safely. A waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian is mandatory before any independent access.

The reception staff are there to welcome you, provide information, and answer your questions. However, they cannot, under any circumstances, provide individual supervision of climbers, especially during peak periods. Each user is responsible for their own safety as well as that of their climbing partner.
